Drew speaks American Sign Language and has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He works with the deaf community. He can help people struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, social difficulties and more.
While he has experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, he also can use many other therapy modalities.
Drew’s goal is to understand the patient’s goals and help them develop personally. He believes that through the process, we learn, grow and become more cultivated versions of ourselves than previously thought possible.
His therapeutic style centers around creating a safe environment that allows for the patient to push their limits. He has a direct communication style that is growth focused.
Drew has a unique perspective that shapes the way he interacts with his patients. With severe/moderate hearing loss, he moved through the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind, and took ASL courses throughout his schooling. Patients that struggle with finding their place in the hearing and deaf community should consider working with Drew, who has experienced these struggles and hopes to assist patients find a balance.
