When someone has been depressed long enough, the electrical system in the brain doesn’t do everything that is needed. This is often like a car with dead batteries. In these cases, we can combine therapy with TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and tiny magnetic pulses are used to recharge and reactivate the electrical system for neurons in the brain. TMS is often the missing link for those that have tried meds and therapy and not found the results that are truly possible.
