Life is a process of emotional growth that presents opportunities through hardships.  The pain and suffering caused by these hardships create motivation for change.  I’ve spent over 20 years in engineering developing software and gained a passion for counseling as I gained strength in dealing with my struggles, which has become the motivator in becoming a mental health counselor.
